My dream hom is whichever home I live in. After getting married we rented a flat for 2 years before buying our first house in 1986.
In 1993 we bought our current house as we needed more space. I don’t have any intentions of moving from here in a hurry unless we downsize and when we would have to sell lots!
Over the years we have had our kitchen done, bathrooms redone, built a bar, put in a pool and entertainment area built a back patio and a cottage (Dereck’s office)
Dereck uses the cottage as his music studio, I have my craft room and we still have a study with a TV, sound system and the computer.
I have never dreamed of any type of house that I would like to live in, my only "requirement" was to have a house with a wall around it and a swimming pool as when I was young we never had that and it was just something that appealed to me. I have been fortunate that in both houses we have ever owned, we put up walls and put in swimming pools, thereby fulfilling my minor dream.
Thanks for looking.
Happy in my house signing off ...

Oh wow Michelle. This is a stunning layout which suits the theme to the T. I love the BG patterned cardstock you have used which goes perfectly with your cylinder shaped pics. Now, once again you are leaving us in the dust. Don't know where you find all the time ... one busy bee you are.
And so many posts in weekend, can't keep up anymore.
Hugs

gorgeous! and your home looks lovely, and wow! a swimming pool too. very few homes in the UK have pools, guess its warmer with you. Really nice layout, I've never done scrapbooking and am afraid to start, I'm sure it takes longer to do a scrapbook page than a card, and where does TIME go?

You are doing so great...
Awesome!
Michelle,
I think your layout is beautiful, and I love your sentiments about your dream home even more - to be happy in one's home and where you live if one of the best feelings, and so important to the quality of one's life. I can just imagine that with this challenge your scrap albums must truly epitomise the true essence of what scrapping should be about...documenting significant things as well as the lighter side of life, for your children to enjoy and learn from one day...thanks for sharing
Hi Michelle. Just a quick note to let you know you have once again been tagged by Doing Life, so hop over there. Hugs. Desire
